U3A Walk

Description: Walks are usually once a month with a mileage of up to about five miles. Members of the group suggest walks they can lead with details of hills, stiles and terrain. The leader of the walk says which day is convenient. As many walks as possible use public transport to the meeting place, otherwise lifts can be given by some car drivers. Walks are usually circular to take account of cars. A further walking group aims to walk about 5 or 6 miles (no longer) and does not rely on public transport as members are happy to provide a lift. This is in no way a rival to the other walking group but for those who wish to walk just that bit further and faster. Further details: www.brightonandhoveu3a.org.uk/Walking.html
